As a friend and former guitar student of Jason's, I feel it is my duty to spread the word of his musical prowess beyond the confines of his Tucson, Arizona roost. If you are a fan of the incendiary fret-wizardry of Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Greg Howe and the like, you owe it to yourself to check out Jason's amazing chops, passionate writing, and studio mastery. A guitar player of almost two decades, he initially focused on mastering the guitar, studying theory, technique, and writing. This love of his instrument spilled over into the recording domain where he quickly became adept at pumping out superior tracks on inferior equipment. His robust teaching schedule in the Tucson area eventually afforded him better equipment. After finding a hard-disk recording system he was comfortable with he began in earnest to record his first professional quality CD. Many songs were recorded along the way, many were scrapped. I've heard the throwaways and I assure you I hear no problems! But he's a slavish perfectionist and risked laboring in anonymity. So I begged him to let me get his music out to the public...and here it is. If you are a fan of guitar oriented music and like what you hear, please link a friend to this site and turn them on to one of the most dynamic and accomplished insturmentalists today.
